Une journaliste, Greta Van Susteren (ancienne CNN et plutot de gauche qui maintenant a un show chez FOXNews) rend compte de la pression appliquee sur elle par la Maison Blanche pour que sa collegue, Jennifer Griffin, cesse de rapporter les faits concernant Benghazi; evidemment, pour le bien du future professionnel de Jennifer.

Elle parle encore plus vite que de coutume sur cette Video 

Vous avez pourtant raison, Zed; alors les Anglais ont peut-etre ri pour une autre raison (si vous avez parle des "golden years" par exemple et qu'elles ne sont pas si dorees que ca pour eux?)

Si les pays occidentaux ne reagissent pas a ces horreurs (signe de faiblesse), c'est reellement la fin pour eux.

Islamic State militants have released a video claiming to show the beheading of British aid worker David Haines, in what British Prime Minister David Cameron has described as "an act of pure evil."
The 44-year-old Haines was abducted in Syria in 2013 while working for an international aid agency. The British government had managed to keep his kidnapping secret out of concern for his safety until the most recent video identified him as a captive.

Prime Minister David Cameron described the apparent murder as "an act of pure evil" in a tweet from his official account.

We have moved from Texas to Florida to be closer to one set of our grand-children (wish we could be cloned so we could also enjoy our grand-daughter who now lives in Pennsylvania) and I am back in the homework situation, Yeah!! Yesterday, 1h and 15 minutes for the little one in Kindergarten, a bit long but this being said, I do believe in the reinforcement of what is being learned at school.

Your solution might be for your mother or mother-in-law to move a few doors down??   

... my mother was a teacher but she's now retired and doesn't want to work anymore (though she sometimes speaks English to my kids...)
My mother in law supervise my kids homework four times a week ... well, untill I'm back home...

The problem is that she can't speak English, nore can she speak spanish ... and she's not very good at maths...

I'm afraid I'll have to suffer the teachers ' sadism untill my children have passed their exams ...in a couple of years

Lorsque les États-Unis sont intervenus pour la seconde fois en Irak, de nombreux analystes, comme Gerald Celente, avaient prévenu qu’il s’agissait d’une erreur qui serait lourde de conséquences. D’un régime laïc et autoritaire stable, l’Irak est devenu un pays où règne le chaos et où des assassins terrorisent la population au nom d’une religion.

« Si vous voulez complètement déstabiliser le Moyen-Orient, il faut s’attaquer à l’Arabie Saoudite. C’est le pays le plus riche en pétrole de la région. Si l’ISIS parvient à prendre le contrôle de l’Irak, cela signifie que l’Arabie Saoudite aura des terroristes à ses portes.


Savez-vous à quel point il est facile de faire exploser un pipeline en Arabie Saoudite ou un puits de pétrole ? Si l’ISIS en a l’envie, elle peut mettre totalement à l’arrêt la production d’un ou 2 sites.

Le problème pour l’économie, alors que nous vivons dans un monde complètement manipulé, c’est que les effets d’annonce ne pourront pas stopper les conséquences désastreuses d’un tel événement. Cela enverrait les marchés au tapis, et que pourraient faire les banques centrales pour les rassurer ? Je ne sais pas quel sera le catalyseur, mais nous allons assister à un crash énorme, parce que les gouvernements en ont fait trop pour maquiller la réalité.

À titre de comparaison, cette vélocité est de 1,62 en ce moment aux États-Unis. En 1923, la masse monétaire en Allemagne fut multipliée par 12. L’hyperinflation peut se manifester très rapidement. Le cours de l’or en Allemagne avait explosé de 464.000 % – ce fut un véritable effondrement.

Nous n’assisterons peut-être pas à ce scénario, mais ce que j’affirme, c’est qu’un petit groupe organisé de terroristes pourrait semer la pagaille sur le marché du pétrole. Si cela se passe, les Américains retourneront-ils en Irak ? Non. Si l’ISIS prend Bagdad, ce sera un événement important, mais le véritable prix à payer se situerait en Arabie Saoudite (note : il s’agit de considérations géopolitiques, les premiers à souffrir seront bien évidemment les Irakiens). »

Saudi Arabia's most high-profile billionaire and foreign investor, Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, has launched an extraordinary attack on the country's oil minister for allowing prices to fall.

In a letter in Arabic addressed to ministers and posted on his website, Prince Alwaleed described the idea of the kingdom tolerating lower prices below $100 per barrel as potentially "catastrophic" for the economy of the desert kingdom.

The letter, first reported online by the FT, is a significant attack on Saudi's highly respected 79-year-old oil minister Ali bin Ibrahim Al-Naimi who has the most powerful voice within the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (Opec).

A hallmark of progressive politics is the ability to hold fervent beliefs, in defiance of evidence, that explain how the world works—and why liberal solutions must be adopted. Such political superstitions take on a new prominence during campaign seasons as Democratic candidates trot out applause lines to rally their progressive base and as the electorate considers their voting records. Here’s a Top 10 list of liberal superstitions on prominent display during the midterm election campaign:

1. Spending more money improves education. The U.S. spent $12,608 per student in 2010—more than double the figure, in inflation-adjusted dollars, spent in 1970—and spending on public elementary and secondary schools has surpassed $600 billion. How’s that working out? Adjusted state SAT scores have declined on average 3% since the 1970s, as the Cato Institute’s Andrew Coulson found in a March report.

No better news in the international rankings: The Program for International Student Assessment reports that in 2012 American 15-year-olds placed in the middle of the pack, alongside peers from Slovakia—which shells out half as much money as the U.S. per student.

Someone might mention this to North Carolina Democratic Sen. Kay Hagan, who is knocking State House Speaker Thom Tillis for cutting $500 million from schools. Per-pupil K-12 spending has increased every year since Mr. Tillis became speaker in 2011, and most of what Ms. Hagan is selling as “cuts” came from community colleges and universities, not the local middle school. Mr. Coulson’s Cato study notes that North Carolina has about doubled per-pupil education spending since 1972, which has done precisely nothing for the state’s adjusted SAT scores.

2. Government spending stimulates the economy. Case in point is the $830 billion 2009 stimulus bill, touted by the Obama administration as necessary for keeping unemployment below 8%. Result: four years of average unemployment above 8%. Federal outlays soared in 2009 to $3.5 trillion—a big enough bump to do the Keynesian trick of boosting aggregate demand—but all we got was this lousy 2% growth and a new costume for Army Corps of Engineers mascot Bobber the Water Safety Dog. Every Senate Democrat voted for the blowout, including the 11 now up for re-election who were in Congress when it passed.

3. Republican candidates always have a big spending advantage over Democrats. Majority Leader Harry Reid took to the Senate floor recently to deride the Koch brothers as “radical billionaires” who are “attempting to buy our democracy.” Yet the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee has raked in $127 million this cycle, about $30 million more than the National Republican Senatorial Committee, and Democrats have aired more TV ads than Republicans in several battleground states, according to analysis by the Center for Public Integrity. Meanwhile, Mr. Reid’s Senate Majority PAC has raised more than $50 million. As this newspaper has reported, between 2005 and 2011, labor unions—linchpins of the Democratic Party—spent $4.4 billion on politics, far outstripping any conservative rival.
